Here's an incredible piece of Halifax history out of the water off McNabs Island: a John Nash hutchinson bottle. John Nash and his brother were some of Halifax’s earliest soda water bottlers. They ran a plant on Brunswick Street in the 1870s through the early 1880s. Bottles like this one were made with aqua green glass and embossed with their name.
