Tremendous revolution in the history of Pakistan Railways Pakistan Railway has entered in a new era of mechanized track maintenance which is less labor intensive perfect and fast. Pakistan Railways has tested 300 meters Ballast cleaning and filling by this machine in one hour, whereas earlier manually it was done as about 5 sleepers per man per day . It not only cleans the ballast of mud but also grades it in required size of ballast and then refills to meet the deficiency of ballast on track. I
