Here’s the method of the madness of why certain cows end up in specific pens in our barn as we start calving! It’s basically organized chaos, but we try to set it up from the start the best as we can. Pen 5 is where the spicy ladies ended up. There’s not as many anymore, but that’s the designated pen for them with a calving pen in it. Heifers are near the office in pens 1 & 2. A few nice laid back cows are with them and the rest flows!
