Just an observation about the new cargo area and back seat arrangement on the 6th gen. Now we know there will be a lot of mods for this to help make camping in the back a little easier but at least in our initial look it seems that back row of seats will need to come out to fit most people in the 6 foot tall range. The seat design on the 6th Gen is very different from the 5th Gen. A little bit more like a bucket seat, it really holds you in place by contrast to the 5th gen. When off-road on steep angles we imagine this will help keep the drive in the same spot a lot better than the seats on the 5th Gen, however we’ve also noticed that on long road trips, a lot of plus prefer the leg movement we get on the 5th gen. Well I gotta say these TacoMounts made it easy to figure out what I was going to do for tool storage in the back of the Tacoma • It’s a 60/40 split back seat, this is for the smaller side and there’s one for the bigger side that I’m also going to install • At first I didn’t like how these back seats folded but now I don’t mind it at all. I can pull out the packouts and put the seats back to haul around the kids • These are available @mod_my_rig . . . #tools #construction #toyotatacoma #packout #
