Our brilliant Shoresearch volunteers headed to Filey Brigg on an extra low tide to explore the rocky shore, and wow, did they make some amazing finds! Hidden amongst the kelp, they discovered: 🟡 Sea lemon - a bright yellow sea slug 🕷️ Sea spider - not a true spider, but a fascinating marine arthropod. ⭐ Common starfish - can regrow lost arms if one gets nibbled away. 🦞 Lobster - their claws can be stronger than a human handshake. 🌱 Green leaf paddle worm - a rare marine worm with leaf-like b
