When you can't go to Japan, bring Japan to you ;) This is how I like to create cherry blossoms on a cake using a 101 piping tip. This tip makes the perfect size little blossom, and in this video, I demonstrate how to pipe them so they have two different tones in the flowers. For the buttercream frosting, I used: 300 grams vegetable shortening 600 grams icing sugar 3 tablespoons coconut milk (or any milk will do) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or clear essence for a pristine white frosting finish) |
