Dec 12, 2015 · In word for mac 2011 I was able to use a tiled image as the background of a table (e.g. a small square with crossed lines generated graph paper. I guess that a white square with a single horizontal line would generate ruled paper). In mac 2016 I am not able to do this.

Jun 26, 2012 · For some reason unknown to me when I open a new word doc. word opens a page with graft paper appearance... I have been using MS-Word for 10-years and this is a new one for me. Down loaded a graph paper template to use, now I can't get rid of it. I've tried "new" and "blank", doesn't work. Also previous doc's load showing in current default (graph paper), however print preview seems to show "blank" background. I would think it it is a registry matter, but I don't know where to look exactly.

I was experimenting with word and this graph paper stuff is now on and i can not get it off. even when i go to the open new blank document it will still have graph paper print on it how in the world do i get it off. View Tab>Show>Gridlines. Uncheck it.
