Interstate 64 (I-64) in the US state of Virginia runs east–west through the middle of the state from West Virginia to the Hampton Roads region, for a total of 299 miles (481 km).

Interstate 64 (I-64) is an east–west Interstate Highway in the Eastern United States. Its western terminus is at I-70, U.S. Route 40 (US 40), and US 61 in Wentzville, Missouri. Its eastern terminus is at the Bowers Hill Interchange with I-264 and I-664 at Bower's Hill in Chesapeake, Virginia.

The I-64/I-264 Interchange Improvements Project, over two phases, provides four miles of interstate improvements from the Twin Bridges in Norfolk to the Witchduck Road interchange in Virginia Beach. The project partnership is 92% paid for by HRTAC with regional controlled funds and aims to ease congestion along a nearly 10-mile corridor on Interstate-64 through the addition of twin, two-lane bored tunnels under the harbor from Hampton to Norfolk and the widening of four-lane segments.
