The report ‘ Make Work Safe: Eliminating Violence and Harassment Against Aviation Workers ’, commissioned by the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), found that 70% of aviation workers regularly experience verbal abuse at work.

The report also found that more than a third of trans workers are not open about being LGBTQ to their current supervisor.

"Our analysis indicates that employment discrimination against transgender employees is persistent and widespread," the Williams Institute's report states.

A survey by the Williams Institute at UCLA found that 82% of transgender employees, have experienced workplace discrimination or harassment based on gender identity or sexual orientation, NBC News reports.
