Embiid has not resembled his former self this season. Some of the fan base view him as a problem instead of a solution for a squad with the East’s second-worst record of 3-12.

Joel Embiid, who was thrown on the injury report on Friday morning due to left knee injury management, is now out for the contest. He did not come out at all for warm ups which was the tell-tale sign that the big fella was not going to be able to give it a go.
