The iconic Silverstone Circuit holds a special place in the minds of enthusiasts and automakers from the United Kingdom, so it seems only right that a British manufacturer has just regained control of the Grand Prix track's production car lap record.

Three years after it built its first customer Valkyrie, Aston Martin has confirmed that production of the V-12 hypercar will soon reach an end. In a statement to Motor Authority, Aston Martin spokesperson Morgan Theys said the final Valkyrie will be built before the end of 2024.
