Puget Sound Energy said it will now have three restoration times: noon Saturday, 6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.

Thousands of PSE customers have been in the dark for about five days following Tuesday’s “bomb cyclone.” The storm killed two and cut power to more than half a million people throughout the U.S. northwest.

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) leadership provided an update on Wednesday afternoon, indicating how the utility company would prioritize power restoration as nearly 300,000 customers remain in the dark.President and CEO of PSE Mary Kipp said that at its peak,

WASHINGTON — Officials with Puget Sound Energy reassured customers in western Washington without power Thursday night that power would be restored by Saturday despite the second disruptive storm threat on Friday. The first storm damaged PSE electrical poles and wires earlier this week, causing widespread power outages.

Seattle City Light said it addresses hazards and prioritizes restoring power to public health and safety facilities before servicing outages by number of customers.

PSE said the updated restoration times were Saturday at noon, Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday at 10 a.m. As of 7 p.m. Saturday, less than 58,000 PSE customers were still without power
