The Seahawks overcame a power outage this week at their team headquarters then overwhelmed Kyler Murray and the Cardinals on Sunday for a share of first place in the NFC West.

After the victory, the Seahawks temporarily have the lead in the NFC West via tiebreaker over the Cardinals; although a Los Angeles Rams win on Sunday night would create a three-way tie in which Arizona would have the tiebreaker.

The Seahawks were fortunate that the rest of the NFC West didn't separate as they worked through some issues with first-year head coach Mike Macdonald. The other three teams might regret not putting more distance between themselves and Seattle, which seems to be getting better as the season goes on.
