IPL 2025: Day one of the highly anticipated IPL 2025 mega auction at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia concluded on Sunday with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) buying in Rishabh Pant for ₹ 27 crore, making him the most expensive player in the history of Indian Premier League.

Abdul Samad will be playing for Lucknow Super Giants in the next season of the IPL. The Lucknow-based outfit signed up the middle-order batsman for INR 4.20 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction.

In an intense bidding war, Pant was signed by LSG for an incredible sum of INR 27 crore at the auction going on in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah.
