Former Georgia Bulldog and current Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey just etched his name in the history books.

The rookie receiver spent three years playing for the Georgia Bulldogs serving as the No. 2 pass option behind tight end Brock Bowers. Many believed McConkey would be more of a strong slot receiver in the NFL but he proved to be incredibly reliable for Herbert.

McConkey caught nine passes for 197 yards in the game, breaking the record for most receiving yards by a rookie in a playoff game. The record was held by Puka Nacua, who just set it last year when he had 181 yards receiving against the Detroit Lions.
