Jeff Monken was asked if he ever thought about keeping quarterback Bryson Daily on the sideline at Yankee Stadium on Saturday when it became evident the Black Knights were not going to be able to beat Notre Dame.

Army’s path to the College Football Playoffs will likely go through Notre Dame. A victory over the Fighting Irish would launch Jeff Monken’s squad up several spots in the CFP rankings and possibly ensure Group of Five schools getting two playoffs.
