The company launched 20 Starlink satellites from its Falcon 9 rocket on Saturday that could be seen above Southern California.

SpaceX's Starlink 12-1 liftoff carried 23 internet satellites — including a dozen with the direct-to-cell capabilities — up into low-Earth orbit.

After stage separation, the rocket's first-stage booster completed its 20th flight by touching down atop a SpaceX drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
