OU football sent a gift to ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit on Saturday before the Sooners' game against Alabama to pay tribute to Herbstreit's late dog, Ben.

Kirk Herbstreit is introducing his 'College GameDay' peers to his pup Peter, who got to sniff around the show's set and make some new friends. Herbstreit previously announced on Nov. 7 that his dog Ben had died after the golden retriever's cancer spread.

The big dog kept getting in the way of the kicker, despite Herbstreit's best efforts of throwing a tennis ball for him as often as he could. The kicker had to reset several times, and ended up complaining about the dog at one point while McAfee chastised Peter for "icing the kicker."
