British and Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell has suggested the New South Wales Waratahs may have deliberately over-watered the pitch at Allianz Stadium ahead of the match in which the tourists struggled to a 21-10 win.

The British & Irish Lions have questioned whether the Waratahs deliberately watered the field in Sydney, after they escaped with an 11-point win.

Andy Farrell hinted that the Allianz Stadium pitch may have been deliberately watered to give the New South Wales Waratahs an advantage, as his British and Irish Lions laboured to a scrappy 21-10 win.
