General election results show Democrats in Washington are on track to growing their already-strong majorities in the state Legislature. Heading into the election last week, Democrats outnumbered Republicans by 29-20 in the Senate and 58-40 in the House.

A week after the general election, several state legislative contests in Washington have yet to be called. Some counties have completed their ballot counts, but several larger counties are still in the process of adding thousands of votes to their totals In Legislative District 10,

Political control of the Arizona Senate was on the ballot Tuesday. Six days of counting show Republicans likely to not only retain control of the 30-member chamber, but to possibly gain a seat . The Senate is currently split 16-14.
