Tiger Woods says moving the Genesis Invitational from fire-ravaged Pacific Palisades to Torrey Pines will help 'raise more money for all the losses that have incurred.'

Keeping the tourney in California and the proximity to Riviera Country Club were primary factors for selecting Torrey Pines for the Feb. 13-16 to the event.

The PGA Tour said Thursday that its is moving the location of next month’s Genesis Invitational, the annual tour stop at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA hosted by Tiger Woods. The move comes after the horrific Palisades Fire that erupted in that community on January 7,
