Rishabh Pant was at it again regaling his Indian teammates on the field at the Chepauk. On the second day of the ongoing first Test at Chepauk on Friday, Pant was doing his bit on the stump mic to keep his teammates interested.

Rishabh Pant returns to Test cricket after a long gap of 632 days. Pant's return to the Test side not only brings incredible joy to India fans but also adds the much-needed X factor to the Test team.

Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly who was working with the Delhi Capitals disclosed in February 2023 that Pant was going through a difficult time and would require a couple of years to make a comeback on the field.

India are currently taking on Bangladesh in the first of the two Test match series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Rishabh Pant is the wicketkeeper-batter selected in the India playing XI. This is thus Pant's first Test match appearance for Team India after 632 days.
