Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni accidentally let slip that quarterback Jalen Hurts has an injured ankle and then seemingly tried to play if off as confusion.

Hurts has had ankle issues before. He missed a game late in the 2021 season with a sprained ankle that affected him into the first-round playoff loss to Tampa. Hurts was seen after that game with a walking boot. He also had ankle surgery more than a year later, in the spring of 2023.
