Michigan gas prices remained $3.25 a gallon Sunday, the same price, on average, it was a week ago, but it is expected to drop as refineries switch to winter-blend gasoline, which tends to cost less. Some metro Detroit stations on Sunday already were selling gas below $3 a gallon.

The state pump price is the same as this time last week, at $3.25 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline, AAA- The Auto Club Group announced Monday. The price is 27 cents less than a month ago and 47 cents under this time in 2023, AAA officials said in a release. Motorists are paying an average of $48 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.

According to AAA, prices at the pump in Delaware have fallen $0.70/gal from this time last year, and experts with GasBuddy say they're the lowest we've seen since 2021.
