Republican Senate candidate David McCormick has ousted longtime Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey, according to an Associated Press projection. McCormick, an Army combat veteran and former hedge fund CEO,

David McCormick was one of two former Connecticut residents to face allegations of carpetbagging in other state's U.S. Senate races this year.

Casey, 64, is a stalwart of the state’s Democratic Party, having won six statewide elections going back to 1996. But the vote count early Wednesday morning were suggesting that could change.
