Senator Bob Casey, the Democratic incumbent, is an institution in Pennsylvania. His Republican opponent is David McCormick, the former chief executive of Bridgewater Associates, a large hedge fund. Mr. McCormick lost the Republican Senate primary in 2022 to Mehmet Oz.
