Mehidy Hasan Miraz will lead Bangladesh in the upcoming ODI series against West Indies after Najmul Hossain Shanto could not recover from a groin injury.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been named the captain of the Bangladesh ODI squad for the West Indies series. Shakib Al Hasan continues to miss out while regular skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto is ruled out due to injury.

Wicketkeeper-batter Amir Jangoo has earned a maiden call-up to the West Indies ODI squad for the three-match series against Bangladesh. Allrounder Justin Greaves also makes a return to the ODI setup after being left out of the home series against England early last month.
