Saturday, November 30, is the last day the Rockrimmon Library in Northwestern Colorado Springs will open. Community members showed up to protest the library's closing and urged the Pikes Peak Library District board members to listen to the community.
Rockrimmon Library closes despite community protests
The Rockrimmon Library permanently closed on Sunday, Dec. 1, after multiple efforts by members of the community to keep it open. On Saturday, Nov. 30, hundreds of people gathered to issue a final plea to the Pikes Peak Library District Board of Trustees to reverse the decision.
