Alexis Lafreniere and Will Cuylle scored for the Rangers, who were outshot 49-29 and had their winning streak ended at three games.

The Flames came out on top in the third period to hand the Rangers a 3-2 loss and end their three-game win streak.

By the end of the night, the Flames recorded a total of 49 shots on net. While Igor Shesterkin kept the Rangers in the contest, his heroics weren't enough to save the team. Once again New York was overly reliant on Shesterkin and that’s just not a healthy way to try and win hockey games.

Flames rookie Dustin Wolf has been as advertised and is beginning to earn more starts. He’s started — and won — three of the past four and stopped 85 of 87 shots. Home ice has also been kind to Wolf, as he’s won six of seven starts with a .925 SV% and 2.36 GAA.
