Aside from the widespread haze, skies should be mostly sunny in Houston on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures on both days will reach 95 degrees.

Wednesday through the 4th of July and the weekend, expect only an isolated afternoon storm with the main theme of the forecast being increasingly hot weather with more Saharan haze. Highs will range from 95-99 with coastal areas topping out in the low 90s.

It will be hot and humid Wednesday, with not much happening. A plume of dust is still in place giving way to hazy conditions. There is only a slight chance of rain for later in the day as things heat up to the mid-90s.
