Many Western countries — including stalwart U.S. and Israeli allies — called for the International Criminal Court’s ruling against Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu to be respected.

The move by the International Criminal Court will complicate travel by Israel’s prime minister and former defense minister, who would risk arrest in the court’s member countries.

The leaders are accused of crimes against humanity and war crimes over the war in Gaza and the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
