The Republican senator was arrested by Georgia state police as he was trying to enter the state House chamber. Moore says he's not backing down.

Colton Moore, a far-right Republican, earned the ouster last Spring for calling a deceased state senator corrupt while his colleagues were honoring him.

Senator Colton Moore, of Dade County, was arrested on Thursday after he defied the order of Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns that he would not be allowed in for a joint legislative session in Atlanta.

According to arrest warrants, Moore is charged with one misdemeanor count of Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers.
