A woman found shot to death in 1973 was never identified, so investigators commissioned a 3D rendering of her head, hoping someone will recognize her.

Tamara “Tammy” Tignor was 23 years old when she was killed. Her body was found on Nov. 4, 1997, near Washington Valley Park in Bridgewater Township, about 35 miles southwest of Central Park.

A cold case from 1988 has finally been solved after detectives were able to match DNA to a murder suspect over 36 years later.
