Major General Christian Freuding, Head of the Planning Staff and the Special Task Force for Ukraine at Germany's Federal Ministry of Defence, believes that Germany is currently the main target of Russia’s hybrid attacks due to its leading role in supporting Ukraine.

German leaders raised the possibility that a fiery cargo plane crash in Lithuania on Monday was the result of sabotage or hybrid warfare.

His statement follows earlier incidents, reported by The Wall Street Journal, at DHL logistics hubs in Leipzig and Birmingham, involving unconventional incendiary devices, which were linked to broader Russian sabotage efforts.
