A man was charged Friday with murder, attempted murder and assault for the downtown Denver stabbing spree along the 16th Street Mall that killed two and sent two others to the hospital last weekend. The family of 34-year-old Nick Burkett started a memorial of candles, flowers and pictures near 16th Street and Wazee Street in downtown Denver on Friday, just days after his death. He and 71-year-old Celinda Levno were killed in two of the four random stabbings along the 16th Street Mall last weekend.

Denver police are searching for a suspect accused of stabbing three people near the 16th Street Mall on Saturday night. One woman who was stabbed later died of her injuries, according to police.
