With him out of the lineup, Dallas didn't have many excuses to drop this game and needed a win following their disappointing loss to the Houston Rockets on Halloween night.

After a strong showing against the Magic, the Dallas Mavericks stumbled in a tough matchup with the Pacers, where Bennedict Mathurin played a key role and exchanged words with Luka Doncic at the end of the game in the NBA.

Luka Doncic had 32 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, Daniel Gafford scored a season-high 18 points, and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Orlando Magic 108-85.

Doncic awoke from his offensive slumber by scoring 25 of his game-high 32 points in the first half, which helped the Mavericks (4-2) cruise to a 108-85 win Sunday over the Magic (3-4), who played without Paolo Banchero.

Doncic started grabbing at his leg during a Mavericks possession and wasn't able to run back down the court on defense. After a Wolves turnover, he made a layup off an outlet pass, but remained on that end of the court and started limping toward the locker room at the next dead ball. Doncic eventually needed assistance leaving the court.
