The first half of Sunday's game between the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs included a scary moment when Carolina tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders was carted off after suffering a injury. Sanders was taken to a Charlotte hospital for further evaluation after suffering a neck injury.

The scary moment was only made scarier in the lingering moments after the fall. Sanders, a rookie tight end out of Texas, was loaded onto a stretcher board and eventually carted off the field. Sanders appeared to lift his arms and offer two thumbs up as he left the field.
