Animal rescue pilot killed in Windham crash remembered for always helping others
Seuk Kim was transporting three dogs to Schoharie County when his plane went down near the Escarpment Trail in Windham at 6:10 p.m. Sunday. One of the three dogs he was transporting to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley died in the crash while the other two survived but sustained injuries.

After apparently hitting turbulence, Kim's 1986 Mooney M20J crashed in the snowy woods of the Catskill Mountains, killing the 49-year-old pilot and one of the dogs, authorities said. The other two pups survived and were recovering Tuesday.
