There's not much to complain about if you're a New York Knicks fan these days. Entering Thursday, New York owned the NBA's fifth-best record (32-16) and has all the makings of a legitimate contender.

"Alternatively, the Knicks could swap center Mitchell Robinson for Valančiūnas if they don't believe in Robinson's ability to stay healthy for a playoff run -- a move that would also reduce their luxury tax bill," wrote ESPN's Kevin Pelton on Monday morning.

The Knicks haven’t yet made a move ahead of next week’s trade deadline, but James L. Edwards III of The Athletic suspects that will change. New York is third in the East, just 1.0 games behind the Celtics for second.
