A university student who died after he climbed a street pole and fell while Philadelphia Eagles fans celebrated the team's victory in Sunday's NFC championship game was a Toronto native and an accomplished gymnast.

Tyler Sabapathy was “authentically himself, gregarious and kind,” the East York Gymnastics Club said in a statement.
