Sean Dyche has released a statement thanking Everton after spending two years at the club. Dyche was relived of his duties by the Toffees last week just a few hours before their FA Cup third round clash with Peterborough. Aston Villa predicted XI vs Everton: Duran to start ahead of Watkins?

Everton kicked off a new era with a 2-0 FA Cup third-round victory over League Two Peterborough United on Thursday thanks to goals from Beto and Iliman Ndiaye, hours after their manager Sean Dyche was fired.

Dyche has not spoken publicly since getting released by the Blues, with the club's terse online statement about his sacking not even thanking Dyche speaking volumes about the manner in which he left the club. His press release came out today via the League Managers' Association and does not mention that oversight by the club either.
