The Last of Us Part II Remastered: One single PS5 Pro mode at 4K60, PSSR-upscaled from 1440p. On original PS5, only offered native 4K30 or 1440p60. It’s clearly far sharper than 1440p60 (the grass!) and far smoother than 4K30. Some slight details in the original native 4K30 arguably look better.

The Immersed Visor, revealed today at an Austin event, appears to sit somewhere between a Vision Pro Lite and Xreal Plus. When the PlayStation 5 launched, fans expected a higher level of fidelity in games. The previous generation already pushed visuals to near Pixar-like quality and many expected that this could be the console where visuals would move up another notch thanks to ray-tracing.
