Everton are planning to send loanee Armando Broja back to Chelsea after the striker picked up an injury that will keep him out for 10-12 weeks.

Everton star Armando Broja was stretchered off in the FA Cup match against Peterborough on Thursday night at Goodison Park. The striker, who has only recently returned from injury, appeared to twist his ankle horrifically after jumping to avoid a challenge.

Armando Broja suffered an ankle ligament injury while playing for Everton against Peterborough United in the FA Cup Third Round. The striker, on loan from Chelsea, is expected to be out for around three months.
