Wet weather has returned to Northern California for Veterans Day, with snow also expected to fall in the Sierra.After a dry and nice Sunday afternoon, a few high clouds lingered around but things were set to change into the early morning hours of Monday.

While more rain is expected in the Sacramento region later this week, the state gets about half of its annual rainfall between December and February.
