Caleb Williams grabbed headlines on Saturday night with an incredible game-winning touchdown pass in the Chicago Bears ’ 22-16 overtime win against the Green Bay Packers. The Bears went down 16-6 with five minutes left in the game, but they crawled their way back to mount an improbable comeback and steal the win in overtime.
The Bears are postseason bound for the first time since 2020, while the 49ers will make a fifth appearance in seven years.
The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams both punched their ticket to the playoffs on Sunday and as of right now, those are the only two teams who have clinched a spot. The Broncos actually have a path to clinch the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC this week, but there's only one scenario where that could happen in Week 16:
The Chargers and Bills could have clinched a playoff spot in Week 16 if the Texans lost to the Raiders, but Houston held on in what was a closer game than expected. Those teams are still likely to make it, but they'll have to wait until Monday night for a potential clinch – if the Colts lose.
