This season the Kings have surrendered the fewest goals in the NHL, led by Darcy Kuemper in goal, but are coming off a shutout loss in Edmonton.

Kuemper is slated to defend the road crease in Vancouver on Thursday, according to Zach Dooley of the Kings ' official site.

A blowout loss to the Kings, including giving up three goals in the first ten minutes, left the Canucks once again out of a playoff spot.
