U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted an enforcement operation in the Bronx early Tuesday, following mass arrests in major cities. ICE reported over 1,100 arrests on Monday, as part of President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.

Trump’s lawyers filed a notice of appeal Wednesday, asking the state’s mid-level appeals court to overturn his conviction last May on 34 counts of falsifying business records.

According to Adams, the meeting focused on several issues, including public safety and economic development, not his ongoing legal case.

A Three Village Central School District teacher is out of the classroom after parents said he posted inappropriate comments aimed at President Donald Trump’s immigration policies on social media.

The operation in New York involved agents from ICE’s investigative arm, known as Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), which normally focuses on transnational crime, including human trafficking, child exploitation and drug smuggling, as well as personnel from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), according to photos posted to social media.
