Police say a woman was issued several traffic citations after her car crashed into a utility pole and knocked out power in South Portland during a snowstorm. Police say a vehicle hit a utility pole on Broadway near Lincoln St.

A NEWS CENTER Maine crew at the scene said workers appeared to be offloading the fuel to another nearby truck.

Snow is causing treacherous travel conditions across Maine on Wednesday. A car crash took down some wires in South Portland during a snowstorm on Wednesday morning. The crash happened on Broadway at Lincoln Street. Police say Broadway is closed from Cash Corner to Lincoln St. Wires are down in the roadway.
