A juvenile is now charged with two counts of second-degree murder after police say he admitted to shooting a pregnant 15-year-old at his home in Jackson, Tennessee last week. On January 25, officers with Jackson Police Department say they were called to a shooting in the 100 block of Hardee Street.

The Jackson Police Department has arrested and charged a man accused of beating a child to death. On January 22, 2025, officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to Old Hickory Apartments regarding an unresponsive child being found in the residence.

Judon Roberson Jr., who was taking care of the child at the time, initially told officers that the child drowned in a bathtub at the apartment, according to JPD. Officers charged Roberson with aggravated child abuse and neglect and booked him into jail two days later.
