JOHANNESBURG - A meteorologist has dismissed claims that a Tornado was the cause behind the storm that ripped through Randfontein on Wednesday. The West Rand part of Gauteng was left to pick up the pieces after buildings, houses and cars were left damaged as the result of the storm.

"It looks to be that it might have been a landspout instead of a tornado," said VOX Weather meteorologist, Annette Botha.
